Sin

What is sin, anyway? Why do so many preachers and teachers of the Bible mention sin? Let's read Genesis 3:13, "And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done?" Some might say "how could God not know?" But, as we read the context of the whole chapter 3, God knew what Adam and Eve had done. And, what had they done? Genesis 3:6-7 "she took of it's fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate." God had told them earlier in the account of Genesis 2:17, "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day you eat of it you shall surely die." Please understand the reading, Adam and Eve disobeyed God!!
Have any of us disobeyed God? Sin is being disobedient to God! Sin is doing what you want to do all the time, instead of walking with God and asking His ways. Again, Adam and Eve directly disobeyed God and did what they were tempted to do. What does that mean for today? What Adam and Eve did has been planted in every human being born since then. We are born with a sin nature. Romans 3:23 reads, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Something must be done to help all people. God sent His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a wooden cross for all of our sins! HE paid the price I could not pay. God sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ, for all of our sins! Will you ask Jesus Christ into your heart, today? Come out of the world to live for God!!! May God truly bless all who read this blog!!!!!!!!
